The Day Of Mixed Emotions pt. 1
We all have what is called emotions and that is how we express our feelings. Take in consideration the vast change in the emotions of Haman and let it be a simple reminder that our actions speak louder than our words. This will be part 1 of a part 2 series we will cover.

Our Fire-starter can be found in Esther 5. Our Fire-starter thought is the day of mixed emotions.
Haman is a great person to look at when it comes to mixed emotions. He is on top of the world one moment and then ready to kill someone the next. Oftentimes people deal with the same issue. For just a moment I want you to think about emotions
Emotions is how we express our feelings. Crying, laughing, and sighing are all emotions that express what we are going through. Haman is having an emotional day. One moment he is happy that he has been invited to go eat with the king and queen the next moment he is upset because Mordecai will continue to refuse to bow down to him.
Let me remind you this morning, emotions will cause you to go through the motions.
Some will have emotions for the main purpose of getting attention.
A baby cries to get the attention of the momma and daddy
A worker will cry after being fired because of the hurt that they will have to deal with
A family member will cry over a lost loved.
A person will laugh so hard so everyone will ask what are you laughing about
A person will show remorse to get the attention of someone to give them another chance.
"Make sure your emotions don't turn into me-motions."- bro. Justin
If you read our text it involved others but his main goal was to glorify himself and if he wasn't going to get glorified then he was going to let it out in his emotions.
We sadly see emotionalism among the singing groups of today and even preachers in today. If they do not get what they want they will not show up for another meeting or they cannot come because they didn't get put in the spotlight. By the way, Being out of the spotlight is not so bad.
I know alot of preachers in the spotlight that people come to watch because of the style they preach not the stand for which they preach.
The pulpits have become circuses to make people like the preacher and the show. If you want your emotions to turn to me-motions go to the circus but if you want real emotions showed go the house of God. The house of God will show the true emotions in you if you are right with God. It will cause you to Hate sin and if you hate it it will show in your emotions because you will do something about it.
Haman was happy and sad and it showed. The little song goes if your happy and you know it clap your hands why is that? Because if you are happy "emotions" you will show it "motions" with your hands, feet, and mouth.
Has your emotions become me-motions?
This life is not all about you, it's all about him.
Have a great day!!!!
Esther 5:1-14 KJV
Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house. [2] And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. [3] Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom. [4] And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him. [5] Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared. [6] And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed. [7] Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is; [8] If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said. [9] Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai. [10] Nevertheless Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife. [11] And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king. [12] Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king. [13] Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate. [14] Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
